Achieving the Best Size Match
by Using Measurements from Your Current Wardrobe
Fitting
At Equestrian Lifestyle, clothing is purchased from several different manufacturers. Every clothing manufacturer is unique, and the clothing they produce may vary with respect to sizing. A medium size in one brand can turn out to be somewhat different in another. Some brands opt for a more fitted cut, while others lean towards a more relaxed style. The brands also cater to different demographics - unisex, men, and women.
Shopping online can be a tad confusing in terms of ensuring the right fit - but don't worry, I'll share a few tips that can help you. You can solve this issue by using measurements from clothes in your existing wardrobe!
All products sold by Equestrian Lifestyle have a size chart available. The size chart typically details the width and length of the garment at the very least. These charts are posted on every product page if you scroll down past the add to cart button.
The best way to start is to find a favorite piece of clothing you own that fits just right. Ideally, this should be similar to what you're intending to buy online. You're definitely going to need a measuring tape! If you haven't got one, there's no need to worry - you can find a printable version here that you can assemble with tape.
Lay you shirt on a flat surface and smooth out any wrinkles.
Measure the chest width ~1” below the armhole
The length is measured form the high point on the shoulder next to the neckline to the bottom of the hem.
Sleeve length is measured from the center back (tag area)to the shoulder then to the end of the cuff.
Measure to the closest 1/4” and compare to the garment size chart to determine closest size.
