Life gets busy. I thought it might be time for a blog update!
So far this year, the new boutique cargo trailer has been to the NBEX Equestrian Trade Show, the MQHA Equine Review, and Cowboy Weekend. It's been an awesome way to showcase my designs and connect with fellow horse lovers—but I'm already running out of room!
The first event was indoors back in January. The next two were outdoors... and, as luck would have it, it rained at both of them.
To help keep everything dry, I added a MoonShade canopy to the back of the trailer. It works pretty well and gives me some much-needed covered space outside the trailer for displaying products. There's still a little drip where it attaches to the trailer (nothing is ever perfect, right?), but overall it's been a great addition.
I've also had some fun experimenting with new equipment and products. I finally got to try out the screen printer attachment that came with my xTool S1 laser and used it to create custom shopping bags. I've been designing and making new hat patches, and I've also been testing out tri-layer acrylic from LoneStar Adhesive. Trying new things and seeing what works is one of my favorite parts of running this business.
Since my last blog post, quite a few new products have been added to the collection. We launched two new Rodeo-inspired designs, introduced the Karma design, released the Year of the Horse Tee, and added several new shirt colors.
One of the biggest surprises has been the popularity of the zip hoodies. They arrived, sold out quickly, and more are already on the way. With our unpredictable weather, it's easy to see why they're becoming a customer favorite—they're the perfect layer when temperatures can't seem to make up their mind.
Thank you to everyone who has stopped by the trailer, shopped online, shared a post, or supported Equestrian Lifestyle in any way. It's been a busy and exciting year so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest of it brings.
